I had a day off today, and I had grand visions of productivity which ultimately weren’t fulfilled. Instead I just did a little laundry, took the dogs to the park, and made a quick trip to Costco. Tonight I spent an hour looking after Toby so Julie could take Braeden to his first skating lesson. And then it was Survivor night of course. Tomorrow, off to Victoria for the weekend!

Another day at UBC this week. I had a couple hours between classes, so I took a little drive and had a look at some of the nice scenery. Now it’s raining. Dancing tonight though!

Happy birthday to me! As a special treat, the dogs decided they’d take me out to my favourite dog park. Here’s Brimley making me a gift. So sweet.

Yuck! Driving out to UBC in the pouring rain this morning. Guess we’re in for another four or five months of this, broken up by a couple months of heavy, wet snow. Gotta love winter.

A rainy and ultimately unproductive day. The high point was that Julie, Jess and Lara took me and Colin out for a wonderful dinner to celebrate my birthday at the Saint St. Grill in Port Moody. I’m kicking myself for forgetting to take a photo while we were there (but this is a cute one of Colin and Julie!). The dinner was delicious, the company delightful, and the dessert scrumptious. I guess we have a new restaurant for special dinners now. Thanks again for a wonderful evening guys!
